JEE Main Merit List 2020
NTA will announce the JEE Main 2020 results online on January 31 for the January session. For the April session, the result will be announced later. The format of score would be like separate marks for the different segments for physics, chemistry, maths and combined of all. It is called the NTA score. Based on that, All India Rank (AIR) would be given. For the candidates who will appear in both January and April sessions, the best of both scores will be released. The student who will qualify in JEE Main exam result will be eligible to appear in JEE advanced. This score will be used for admission in different IITs, NITs and GFTIs and many other institutes. Steps to download JEE Main Merit List 2020
Candidates can download the compete for rank list of JEE main 2020. What you all have to do is to visit the official site of JEE main- jeemain.nic.in and click on the links related to the JEE Main 2020 Rank List. you will have to enter the roll no. and password and you will be redirected to the main page. Click on the submit button and download the JEE Main 2020 Rank List. You may take a printout for further reference.

| 1 | First, NTA score secured by candidates in Mathematics will be considered first to break tie. |
| 2 | If still a tie persists, NTA score secured by candidates in Physics will be taken into account. If tie still continues, NTA score of Chemistry will be considered. |
| 3 | Age of the candidates will be considered to break the tie, if the tie still persists. |
| 4 | Finally, if the tie still happens, the concern candidates will be given the same rank. |
In case of a tie for B.Arch/ B.Plan rank list through JEE Main Paper 2, inter-se-merit will be resolved as follows:

Cut off scores for participating in JEE Advanced 2020
The procedure of computing JEE Main 2020 Rank List for Paper 1
NTA compiles the overall rank after the computation of the normalization process and marks secured by the candidates. The score will have three different segment mark namely Physics, chemistry, maths and a final NTA score. The format will be similar for second attempt of exam. The best of two scores would be considered dor the final rankings.
After the normalization process of raw marks secured by the candidates in the entrance examination, NTA Score will be compiled.
The scores of NTA will be released separately for every subject include Maths, Chemistry and Physics and also the overall score. Similarly, the NTA scores will be compiled for the second attempt.
The best of the two attempts will be taken into consideration for rank allocation purposes.

IIT JEE Main Cut Off
The JEE Mains Exam will take place in the second week of January 2020.
After NTA will announce the qualifying marks or cut-off for JEE Mains 2020, the students who qualify are then eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced 2020.
IIT JEE Counseling
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is liable for JEE Main 2020 counseling & seat allotment process. Remember that the whole process will be conducted online mode only from June 15 to the last week of July. Candidates are advised to register on the official website of JoSAA to participate in the JEE Main Counselling and Seat Allotment 2020. There will be a mock test to fill the choice of seats which was preferred by candidates during JoSAA 2020 registration.
