Which is Better NEET or AIPMT?
There are many debates being held amidst the Universities, Institutes, Schools regarding the choice as to which is better NEET or AIPMT? So in this article let us look at both of them from an eagle’s point of view.
AIPMT stood for the All India Pre Medical Test. It was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and acted as a screening process for students who wanted to join the MBBS and BDS courses in a medical institute. It was conducted for the 15% of total seats in all medical and dental colleges in India run by Central and State governments, except J&K, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It used to be conducted only in English and Hindi. AIPMT consisted of two papers, Prelims and Mains.
The NEET on the other hand is a “newbie”. Originated in the year 2013, it is a successor of the above mentioned AIPMT exam. NEET is an acronym for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It consists of a single paper and is organized by the National Testing Agency. It too, is for the students in the age group of 17-25 years and who want to pursue MBBS or BDS exams. In this exam 3 attempts are permissible. It is conducted in the following languages: Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu in accordance with the choice of the student.Counselling is centralized.
Now to answer the question as to which is better ? We will examine the above points. The number of languages in which the NEET is held is more rather than that of AIPMT. So the students who have studied the subjects in their regional languages will be at the same level as the students who have studied in the English medium schools.
But the questions of NEET are considered to be tougher as compared to the AIPMT. Apart from these, there are a minor nitty-gritty aspects in which both of these exams differ in. So all in all it is upto the students as to which level of preparation they are in, and to what extent they are prepared to toil for a seat in the coveted medical institutes.
SUCCESS MANTRA (CLEAREXAM) is a NEET coaching institute in Laxmi Nagar, where emphasis is given on the holistic study for the exam. The students are asked to pay attention to detail and meticulously practice the questions given as home assignments or in the mock tests.
The students are taught that the key to success is in being positive and not by being pessimistic all the time. So whatever the pattern of the exam is, whatever the pros and cons may be, it is the duty of the student to keep up their hard work all the time.
