IIT JEE Advanced 2019 Exam: What to Expect?
Most of the students are baffling about the question i.e. Who will conduct JEE Main and Advanced? Well, the answer to this question lies in the fact that NTA is going to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main which was earlier conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Every year, lakhs of students appear for JEE Main examination to seek admission to prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).
With the new examination authority, students must be having high expectations and hope about the transparency, level of question paper and many more. So, when NTA declared that it will conduct JEE Main twice a year from 2019, students become confused about what will happen and when.
What are the statements made by the officials?
Some reports also highlighted that JEE Main is going to be conducted again in December 2018. But, the NTA officials made this clear that all this is totally fake and JEE is not being conducted in the month of December. So, just relax and focus on your preparation.The main thing about JEE Advanced is that it will still be conducted by the IITs, not by the NTA. The changes which are proposed is only for JEE Main and NEET exams. As per the reports, it is likely that JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted by IIT Delhi.
Expected changes in JEE Advanced 2019 pattern?
While preparing for any kind of examination it is very important for you to well versed with the Syllabus. To crack JEE Advanced 2019, it is very important that you must have a proper knowledge of the time frame of the exam, number of questions, level of questions to be available in the question paper.Since JEE Advanced is likely to be organized by an IIT, you will not find any major change in the JEE Advanced exam pattern. The only major change that you will see this year is that from this year JEE Advanced will be conducted only in the online mode. It doesn’t matter if JEE Main is conducted twice a year or not as it will not affect JEE Advanced and it will be conducted only once a year by any of the IITs.

Expected JEE Advanced Exam Pattern
The expected pattern of JEE Advanced 2019 is as follows:- There will be two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2 in the examination. To pass the examination, candidates have to appear in both the papers.
- Both papers will comprise questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- There will be three sections in each paper and the duration of each paper will be 3 hours.
- The Joint Entrance Examination will only be conducted in the computer-based mode. From this year, no offline examination will be conducted.
- Changes can be expected in the marking scheme of the JEE advanced paper. This year the total marks for both papers are reduced from 183 to 180 marks. So, you might expect such changes in JEE Advanced 2019.
What is there are changes in JEE Advanced?
Don’t worry even if there is a change, there will be prior notification regarding any kind of change in the examination. In case, there is a big change in the exam pattern then you will be given ample time to prepare for the examination as per the new pattern.It is advisable that you don’t have to worry about the changes in the JEE Advanced exam pattern and focus on studying from the best books to prepare for the examination.
