NEET 2020

NTA or National Testing Agency is the liable authority to conduct NEET 2020. It will be held in May in the paper - pen mode. To resolve the language barrier NEET 2020 authority had released detail information in 10 different languages the link for information has been activated on November 30 which can be checked on the official website that is nta.nic.in. Currently the date to fill NEET application form has been extended to January 6, 2020, candidate can download the admit card from March 27, 2020, after the examination candidate can check the NEET answer key which will also be published by some leading coaching centre. NEET result 2020 will be declared on June 4 in online mode. NEET 2020 Latest News and Updates

December 18, 2019: NTA released information related to the state of eligibility and all India quota for application form NEET 2020. In this, candidate is eligible to fill the exam form under the quota. There is any special amendment regarding Jammu and Kashmir student which is 15% all India quota.

December 15, 2019: To give the relief to Jammu and Kashmir students, additional 9 centre were setup including Ganderbal, Pulwama, Anantnag, Srinagar (2), Kulgam, Baramulla, Kupwara and Leh.

December 9, 2019: Kashmiri student can submit the NEET application form to the nodal office centre in their area they can submit the application fee through demand draft in favour of “Director-general” - National Testing Agency payable at Noida.

December 3, 2019: To overcome the language barrier NTA has released the official brochure in different languages including Asami, English, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Hindi and Bengali. December 2, 2019: NEET application form 2020 released with the minute delay of an hour the link provided on the official website.

December 1, 2019: With the amendment in new UT (union territory) of India, Kashmir and Ladakh will be out of 15% all India quota scheme. Therefore, candidates should be noted that this should fill the self-declaration form under the all India quota the final seat for the students of Kashmir and Ladakh will be updated under NEET 2020 scores.

December 1, 2019: Candidates should note that while filling out the application form of NEET 2020 they should upload the class 10th passing certificate in the prescribed format. Also, upload the signature and left-hand thumb impression remember that the file size should be between 100 KB to 400 KB.

December 1, 2019: A total of 155 major cities of India will be conducting the NEET 2020 examination including Ladakh Leh. AIIMS and JIPMER has been merged under the NEET through the medical counselling committee. As per the official notification the fee has been increased for general/unreserved category. For general category it has been increased to 1500 from 1400 while for SC ST PWD and transgender the fee has been increased to rupees 800 OBC NCL category have to pay rupees 1400 NEET official brochure has been published on the official website from December 2, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. candidate can download and advised to read the full details before submitting application form.

November 30, 2019 - NTA launched the website ntaneet.nic.in. For NEET 2020, the authority has provided the facility of uploading photographs from Aadhar card.

NTA or National Testing Agency had released the NEET 2020 application form on December 2 2019. Earlier the last date to fill application form was December 31, 2019, which has been extended to January 6, 2020. Candidates should follow the guidelines while filling out the application form. Students should keep the document ready while filling out the application form.

Here is the step wise process how to fill NEET 2020 application form.

Step 1. NEET 2020 registration: Candidate will have to mention the name, email id, mobile number, gender etc. to register. A provisional application number will be generated along with the credential details.

Step 2. Log in to fill NEET application form 2020:  Candidate will have to log in from the given credentials followed by username and password and need to fill personal, academic and communication details.

Step 3. Upload photograph, signature and other documents: candidates are advised to upload the photograph, thumb impression, signature and other documents in the prescribed format which are given below.

Step 4. Application fee: to complete the application form candidates must pay the fee. It is different for the different categories you can pay the payment via different channel online modes like net banking, debit and credit card. You can also pay the fee by e challan at State Bank of India.

Step 5. Print confirmation page:  After the payment candidate are advised to download the application form and payment receipt for the reference.

NEET Admit card will release the NEET 2020 admit card on March 27, 2020 in online mode. It will consist of the important instructions. NEET Dress Code 2020

Candidates are advised to a deer with the proper dress code instructed by NEET 2020 authority. NDA dress code will consist half sleeves shirt t-shirt full sleeves are not allowed. Clothes should be light without zips, pockets, big buttons and any elaborate embroidery.Female candidates should avoid clothes with embroidery, flowers, brooches and buttons. Salwars and trousers are allowed. Slippers or sandals with low heels are allowed while shoes are not allowed in the examination hall. NEET Result 2020

NTA will declare the NEET Result 2020 on June 4. All the candidates who have appeared in the examination can download the result by entering the roll number and date of birth. NEET Merit List 2020

After the declaration of the result, the NEET authority will publish the list of candidate who has qualified the NEET 2020. It will be for the application for counselling conducted for MBBS, BDS AIIMS, and Ayush courses. Let's see what NEET 2020 merit list will consist:

  • NTA will prepare the merit list of NEET 2020 based on the marks obtained.

  • NTA will also provide this rank list to the counselling committees of the respective states for allotment of seats under 85% state quota seats and private universities.

NEET Counselling 2020
