NEET Preparation Tips for 2021
About NEET
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ( NEET ) is an exam for students in their 12th standard or those who cleared their 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects and who wish to pursue undergraduate medical ( MBBS ) and dental ( BDS ) courses in private or government medical and dental colleges in India, , National Testing Agency ( NTA ) conducts NEET and the results are then provided to Directorate General of Health Services at Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Before 2019 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) used to conduct NEET along with Prometric Testing Private Limited ( US ),NEET has replaced All India Pre Medical Test ( AIPMT ) and all other MBBS admissions related exams conducted by states and colleges since 2013,As per the orders from the Honourable Supreme Court of India, NEET will be the only exam for admission to admission to medical and dental colleges in India thus all colleges will accept students based on their NEET scores
Syllabus
The syllabus for NEET is all the core concepts taught in physics, chemistry and biology in 11th and 12th standard Science stream as prescribed as National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), syllabus is recommended by National Medical Commission of India
Eligibility criteria for NEET 2021
The eligibility criteria for appearing for NEET 2021 is as follows
1)Candidate must belong to any one of the following categories
- Citizen of Indian
- Overseas citizen of India ( OCI )
- Non resident Indian ( NRI )
- Foreign Nationals
2)Candidate must have successfully completed 10+2 examination or must appear 10+2 exam in the current year with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as mandatory subjects
3)Candidate’s age must be at least 17 years as on 31st December 2021
4)Candidates should have scored minimum qualifying percentage as per the following
